Sensei Felipe “Gigante” Almeida teaches adult and advanced classes with a special perspective of a tall fighter. He offers great insight into submission moves, arm bars, escape moves and advanced techniques. He has a special skill of closing out space and forcing his opponent to make mistakes. He enjoys teaching what he knows and loves the sport as an art.

BJJ Black Belt (1st Degree)

Sensei Eddie “Drill Sergeant” Cruz is a Marine, bringing the determination and hard work ethics to the mats with him. He has won multiple tournaments and heads the competition team. Professor Eddie also holds other black belts including a 4th Dan Judo Black Belt.

BJJ Black Belt

Sensei Jason “the lock” Baron instructs both the kids classes and adult classes. He has great attention to details and specializes in foot locks and wristlocks. Jason is always ready to help and show you his perspective of techniques that is sure to help you improve your game.


BJJ Black Belt

Professor Po Kane instructs the adult classes and comes from a broad background in the Asian Martial Arts. His style of folding laundry includes an occupant still in the Gi.  He is a master of fighting blind and applying maximum per inch pressure. He is always willing to teach his highly specialized techniques on the mat.

Sensei Tony Stern recently became a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and holds is a 7th Dan black belt in Judo. He is a master of the take down and is able to choke a competitor while in guard. Tony instructs both the adult classes and the kids classes.

Sensei Garth Blair recently became a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and received his military training as a Marine. His skills as a lanky guard player nearly makes it impossible to pass. He is a self proclaimed Evangelist of Jiu-Jitsu and loves to teach skills to the adult classes.
